I was seriously injured in a car accident in 2014 where I suffered from whiplash, concussion and neck pain and back pain from bulging discs. I was very limited in terms of my function and ability to do day to day things. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to start any exercise program, but I am so glad I did and found Fleming Fitness. I actually wish I found them sooner in my road to recovery. Today my pain is non existent and I am able to play with my son again and get back into the activities I was doing pre accident. I have to be careful still, but without Fleming Fitness I wouldn't be where I am at today. My pain was debilitating and 8-9/10 and now 1-2/10 on bad days. They were gentle and eased me in to exercises and were able to modify any movement that caused pain. And the sessions were at my house which was so convenient for me. I would definitely recommend Fleming Fitness to anyone suffering from any type of injury.

Pat Fleming has been our personal trainer since 2011. As a couple approaching retirement, we wanted to establish a healthy regime, including fitness and nutrition, which would provide a solid and realistic foundation to serve us well throughout our third life stage. Our initial discussion with Pat confirmed that we had chosen wisely. His evident professionalism, combined with a thorough understanding, knowledge and credentialed education in kinesiology, functional and corrective exercises, adaptive routines, with a focus on strength, balance and flexibility have ensured that we continue to enjoy a fruitful and active agenda. Pat carefully monitors all our movements and always insists on the correct stance and proper form when we perform the twice weekly workouts under his watchful eye. He encourages us to achieve increased levels of fitness while always checking to ensure that we are comfortable with each exercise and do not sustain injuries. It is a pleasure to work with Pat during each session and we are never bored. Each activity is carefully selected to build on personal strength and endurance. Pat is patient in explaining each movement and answering any questions about the benefit and the results we can achieve when targeting specific areas of the body. His training includes free weights, strength system, TRX, stability balls, Bosu balls, wobble boards, ropes, resistance bands, medicine balls, foam rollers, yoga balls, treadmill, bicycle and an assortment of other exercise aids as appropriate. The sessions always go quickly yet we leave feeling energized after our final stretching, and having successfully worked through any stiffness or tight areas. Pat always inquires how we are feeling when we arrive and if we mention some temporary physical discomfort, he will automatically adjust our workout accordingly, either targeting the specific area or determining that we should avoid a certain exercise to ensure proper rest and recovery. We lead a very full and active lifestyle, thanks to the essential strength training regime that Pat has customized for us over the years and which he continues to adjust as our health circumstances warrant. We are confident that we will continue to enjoy these “golden” years, knowing that Pat will be there to guide us through the realties of physical aging. He will help us incorporate any physical accommodations in our exercise regime that changing health conditions may require. Pat affirms that we can continue to lead independent lives through regular exercise and good nutrition. These last seven years are a testament to what we have accomplished through our successful collaboration with Pat in a shared desire to help us live the best lives we can. The Gaudets
