Melissa graduated from Concordia University where she pursued her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Therapy. After graduation she passed certification exams to become a Certified Athletic Therapist as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Melissa has always had a passion for sports and she went on to work with high school, college and university athletics. In 2016, she also joined the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
Melissa has also worked in clinical settings helping people of all ages get back to everyday activity after injury. With extensive knowledge in movement and exercise, Melissa is able to create individualized programs based on the goals and needs of each client. She uses exercise to not only rehabilitate current injuries, but to prevent future injuries from occurring as well.
Melissa has also completed a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University which allowed her to expand her knowledge on evidence based practice.
She has experience in yoga and has been doing it for years and in her spare time, she enjoys baking, and spending time outside on a nice walk or hike.
