Mufaro Mpisaunga


Mufaro attended Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, where he graduated with a first class standing in the Honor Bachelor of Kinesiology program. He is a Regulated Kinesiologist from the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. While at Lakehead University, Mufaro worked as a student Athletic Trainer with the Thunderwolves basketball team. Working with the Thunderwolves introduced him to a variety of sports injuries and their methods of treatment . Continuing to grow and expand his knowledge is at the core of Mufaro’s philosophy, leading him to a certification in Advanced Joint Mobilizations. Sport has always been a large part of Mufaro’s life. He played on the National Rugby team his country of origin, Zimbabwe and also grew up playing soccer. He played at club level in Thunder Bay, which solidified his love for exercise therapy. He has experience working with chronic pain, motor vehicle accident victims, Veterans and sports injuries. He believes that to live is to be in motion and that movement is the best form of medicine.
