Madison Lyon

Madison is a graduate from the University of Ottawa, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics. Prior to earning her degree, she graduated from Algonquin College with a diploma in Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy Assisting. In addition, she completed a research project during her studies where she looked at how our brain and nervous system learn to coordinate our movements in different visual environments. Madison has experience treating a variety of clientele, including veterans, motor vehicle accidents, individuals with chronic conditions, workplace injuries and sports injuries. She is able to use her experience in the fields of Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy to develop rehabilitative exercise programs for clients that best suit their needs. She is passionate about helping people feel their best, both physically and mentally, through exercise and physical activity. Madison’s passion for exercise and movement shows in her hobbies, which include dancing, cycling, and hiking. Growing up as an Irish dancer, Madison developed a strong interest in exercise and finding ways to help the body move better.
