Julia Cavanagh
R.Kin, M.Ed, BScH (Kin)
Julia holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from Queen’s University and a Master of Education in Health Professions from the University of Ottawa. She is a Registered Kinesiologist through the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario, with a strong background in strength and conditioning, health education, and community-based wellness.
Julia completed a strength and conditioning internship with varsity athletes at Queen’s University, building a strong foundation in performance training, injury prevention, and functional movement.
She has experience working with Veterans, Athletes and motor vehicle accident victims.
She also coaches at LiveIt Wellness, putting her certificate in Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism to work - supporting safe and effective movement across the perinatal period. As well as leads Mindful Movement, a community-based program she created for older adults, focusing on strength, balance, mobility, and long-term independence.
Outside of work, she loves to lean into her passion of health and wellness by working out with family and friends, hiking, reading, and travelling.
