Alicia is a graduate from the University of Ottawa, receiving her honours Bachelor of Science with specialization in Human Kinetics. She has also completed a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science which focused on assessing mobility and walking in older adults and adults with neurological conditions such as stroke. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologist of Ontario and is CPR, AED, first aid, and NLS certified. She is excellent with concussion clients and people suffering from post concussion symptoms. She was also a lifeguard is is excellent at aquatherapy. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, and swimming. Alicia is also an avid paddler having completed extensive canoe trips in Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Quebec, and northern Ontario. Alicia is passionate about the health benefits of being outdoors and believes in living an active lifestyle to help prevent chronic disease and improve quality of life.
