MATT O’BRIEN

R.KIN, CSEP-CPT

Matt is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He began his career as a Regulated Kinesiologist in 2016, working with veterans, motor vehicle accident clients, athletes, and individuals recovering from a wide range of injuries. His background also includes extensive experience in strength and conditioning. Matt later attended the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where he earned his Master Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc). He is also a professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). Using his diverse clinical and fitness background, Matt creates personalized treatment plans that emphasize the relationship between the body’s structure and function. By focusing on the health and mobility of the muscles and joints, he helps strengthen the body’s framework to support overall wellness and long-term health. During both assessment and treatment, Matt takes a full-body approach to identify the root cause of pain or dysfunction rather than simply treating symptoms. Osteopathy can help relieve pain, improve mobility, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being through a patient-centered, holistic approach. Outside the clinic, Matt enjoys staying active through strength training, running, biking, hockey, golf, and ultimate frisbee. He also loves spending time at his cottage in the Perth area with family and friends, especially when it involves being outdoors.
